The Dux Airoheat
The Dux Airoheat® heat pump is a technology breakthrough that provides all of the benefits of environmentally friendly hot water without the need for solar collectors. It was recently awarded the 2008 Australian International Design Mark.
How does it work?
 The principle of heat pumps is very similar to that of your fridge, except that it is in reverse. The Dux Airoheat® heat pump takes the heat from the air and uses this to heat the water, then it is compressed and the pressure from the compression makes the temperature of the water rise. It is then pumped through a heating coil which is exclusive to the Airoheat before being distributed to your taps.

Sunpro Electric Boosted Solar Hot Water
The Dux Sunpro electric boosted solar hot water system is one of the most efficient electric boosted solar hot water systems in its class.
How does it work?
The processor transfers this cold water from the tank up to the solar collectors. As the water is pumped through the solar collectors, the sun’s energy is transferred to the water, heating it naturally as it passes through. The heavily insulated Sunpro solar storage tank is designed to keep the water warmer for longer, just like a thermos.
Now on cloudy days, the Hotlogic processor recognizes the reduced solar gain and automatically boosts the tank with ‘back up’ electricity. This ‘next generation’ intelligent technology searches for and switches to the cheapest available energy source automatically.
